My interest is weight problems began when , as a young family physician, I notice many of my patients would be better treated by weight loss than by the various and expensive medications they were taking. Like most physicians, my medical education barely discussed nutritional issues. I only had one lecture on weight problems; it dealt mostly with rare genetic and glandular disorders I have yet to see in more then thirty years of practice.

I found the problems of overweight patients intriguing and began a personal journey to learn everything I could to help them. For the past twenty years, my professional carrer has benn devoted entirely to the problems of the overweight and obese.

This journery recently led me to the doorstep of the Dr. Gerald Parker to learn the art and science of Mesotherapy.
